My best friend has suffered multiple forms of severe trauma. The last few months, we've both been walking through trauma. She was the primary victim who experienced firsthand trauma, and I experienced secondhand/vicarious trauma. Then, my sister spoke deeply, deeply damaging and traumatizing words, and, in her deep pain and trauma, and unable to separate, my best friend cut off all contact and communication with me indefinitely. It is killing me, and I am deeply, deeply hurting. Please pray for healing for her, me, and our friendship. Each day, I become increasingly fearful and hopeless that our friendship will ever be mended and restored, and it brings immense pain to my body, mind, heart, and soul.
